Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday has met the Leaders of the Railway Sector Trade Unions have scrutinized the Situation in the Field.
The Chairman of the Trade Union of locomotive drivers, Semen Karikov, the Chairmanof the Trade Union of the railway sector workers and railway builders of Ukraine, Vadym Tkachiov and the Leader of the Free Trade Union of railway sector workers of Ukraine, Grygoriy Nedvyga expressed worry concerning the attempts of the Ministry on Transport and Connections hold the reformation of the railroad transport. According to the Leaders of the Railway Sector Trade Unions the radical reforming of the sphere under the conditions of the political and economic crisis would lead to the worsening of the existing problems and would not facilitate the situation. They deem that the reforming of the railroad transport sphere needs thorough scrutinizing as it is connected with the safety of traffic.
The Chairman offered that the participants of the meeting prepare their motions and promised the initiation of the elaboration of the Bill on the peculiarities of reforming of the railroad transport. He assured the participants that the mentioned problem would be discussed during the conversation with the Prime-Minister of Ukraine.
